Actio Activities

We recognise the importance of accessing activities that are suitable to the most complex needs as well as for those with lower support needs. Actio understand that for some families their childs needs may well be complex enough to make accessing their local mainstream activity a challenge, even if they do not meet the criteria for All In Short Breaks (which is managed and determined by Shropshire Council). To respond to this we have decided to open up our membership to any child or young person who has an identified or suspected SEN or Disability aged 0-25 who live in the Shropshire Council area. This includes children who may be cared for as part of a fostering or kinship arrangement (known as children who are looked after), children and young people with lower levels of support needs who may not meet thresholds for targeted support, and those  with suspected needs that are undergoing investigation or in receipt of support without a formal diagnosis.
