Lower Bush Care Farm has a range of animals including goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, peacocks, chickens, turtles, snakes, degus, horses and ponies.
Sessions include animal care, feeding, mucking out, grooming, walking etc. This is the same routine each morning so that children can work towards being as independent as possible.
When we have finished with the animals we head down to the woods for the rest of the day where we can be found climbing trees, making dens, damming up the stream, making mud pies, playing in the mud kitchen, making fires, cooking, using hand tools to make simple projects and running about letting off steam.
